Okay i was not in Trinidad for carnival but after seeing all those pictures on the various websites, it felt like i was actually there. Unfortunately, I had to be in school but I have this plan; next year I will be a senior in college and I decided to take a little vacation or some will say ''run 'way" to be there. It was very good to see the number of people that took part in the Masquerade Parade given the current economic situation. I wonder how many people have loans to repay or owes someone......? I guess people do what they got to do to in order to enjoy themselves for this time of the year. Apart from Trinbagonians, there was a high percentage of 'foeigners' that were present and took part in the parade. Now can you tell me who is being affected by the current "Recession"? All in all, from what I've seen and heard, it was another sucessfull Carnival season, now lets hope that next year is better because in some strange and mysterious way, I plan to attend and partake......
